Mummy says its a time of celebration and joy. My house does not need decorations because it’s already so festive!

If I was 3 months old in July, now it’s October and I’m 7 months old!
How time scurries past without us noticing.
Mummy told me how she felt sad for me sometimes, because from the moment I was born till now, and probably to the day I leave this earth, I probably won’t ever get to live the life of a normal, natural, wild hamster. To scurry around the desert, to dig a tunnel dozens of metres long, to look for food on my own.
Such is the fate of domesticated pets. I was born into an unwanted, probably an accidental litter, and my life was destined to be like this from the moment I came out.
But at least, while I’m here, it’s not that bad :)
